Color-Coding the Schedule by Attribute

Purpose

To demonstrate how color-coding the Phenix schedule works.

Prerequisites

Orders have been scheduled.

Steps

  1. Go to the scheduling screen for a line or line group.

  2. In the header, below the boxes of statistics, find Colors and click Select.

  3. The following window will open:

    1. To color-code within a material type, select the material type in the upper section.

    2. Enter and select the material attribute to color-code by in the lower search bar.

  4. A color key will appear in the upper right of the header, and the schedule in both the Timeline and the List View will be color-coded.

Setting the Colors

By default, Phenix uses an automatic color assignment to the values of the attribute selected. However, colors may be specified for material attributes of type Picklist. For more information, see Maintain Attributes.
