Remove an obsolete material

Removing or “Archiving” an old material is quite simple and is appropriate whenever this material will no-longer have production scheduled for it.

Instructions

  1. First, navigate to the old material

  2. Press the “Archive” button

  3. Once archived, you won’t be able to search for this material or select it

  4. If this material is present in a wheel, now is a good time to remove the material from the wheel design. Refer to on how to 1. Create a new Wheel Design session version, 2. and how to navigate to the “Select Material” step

  5. Once on the “Select Material” step, you will be prompted to remove the archived material; click the link and Save

  6. Optional: Activate the wheel design with the removed item.
